Package Summary
The Health Training Package offers a selection of first aid training units designed to equip learners with essential life-saving skills applicable across a range of industries and environments. These units focus on providing practical, hands-on training in responding to medical emergencies, managing injuries, and administering critical care in the workplace or community settings.
Key first aid units include:
- HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Focuses on the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR on an adult, child, and infant in accordance with current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
- HLTAID010 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support: Covers the recognition and management of emergencies including shock, bleeding, and cardiac arrest, as well as providing basic emergency first aid response.
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid: A comprehensive unit that teaches learners how to respond to a wide variety of first aid situations, including managing casualties, controlling bleeding, and treating minor wounds and injuries.
